Be a part of something special. This November we are bringing 2000 volunteers to Cape Town for our sixth annual one week building blitz.
2008 ---- Building Blitz on the 28th November – 6th December 2008.

Kiva is an amazing Organisation which arranges loans for people living in the worlds poorest countries.Which is a help up instead of the usual hand out. A great way of helping people get a loan without having collateral or security to offer.
The Niall Mellon Trust (Name Change Coming November 2008) is a organisation set up 7 years ago by Niall Mellon an Irish millionaire who while driving from the airport in Capetown in South Africa on his honeymoon was driven past the shanty towns which make up much of Capetown on his way to his hotel.
The next few days he would think of nothing else, his holiday ruined. He had to help.
The Niall Mellon trust was born. and is now 7 years young.
All are welcome to join in and help but if you have building skills of any king, plumber, carpenter, brickie or whatever you are really really welcome.
2000 volunteers are needed for the 2008 building blitz, 1000, 3 bedroom houses built in a week.
The Niall Mellon trust now builds one in every eight houses built in of South Africa
The lucky families get a brand new three bedroom house, fully finished with running water, toilets and kitchen. No charge it's totally free.
Remember most of theses people have never had running water or a toilet so you are changing lives.
It's an amazing story and a great weeks fun and hard work but at the end of the week when you see the finished results and then the final day, the key handing over cermony to the families, it's really moving.
Amsterdam Escape, helping change lives one family at a time.
Please help too.
