Amsterdam Nest Apartment offers one the chance to stay in an original Amsterdam canal house.

Nest comprises the entire top floor of an original canal house and has many "Amsterdam features" Slopped roof, Mezzanine sleeping area accessed by folding steps, large opening windows which look out over Geldersekade canal and are great to sit at and watch the world go by.

Nest is a convenient and fuss-free alternative to a regular Amsterdam hotel. It comprises two large rooms both with great views, large shower room and separate WC both with heated floors.

Nest has no kitchen but there is a large kitchen dining room on the first floor which is shared by Amsterdam Suite also. There are tea, coffee and hot choc facilities in Nest and a complimentary mini bar. Nest is Stylishly furnished and superbly equipped, and includes everything we could think of to ensure that you feel right at home even if you stay for just one night.

Amsterdam Nest is also air conditioned.

History

AmsterdamNest comprises the entire top floor of an original Amsterdam canal house.

Directly overlooking the Geldersekade canal, the house which AmsterdamNest belongs was built in 1670 during Amsterdam's "Golden Age".

Though equipped with every modern convenience, AmsterdamNest exudes a charming, timeless personality. Its owners down the years have taken good care of it with the result that, today, it proudly features most of its original timbers and stonework.

The vast majority of our guests are repeat customers. That's because we do everything we can to make sure you have the time of your life here.

Before you even arrive, we can arrange tickets for concerts, sporting events and restaurant reservations. This is all part of the Escape service and we charge NO COMMISSION for anything.

We would also be happy to pre-stock your kitchen with your favorite foods and beverages.

Whatever you want, we will do our best to meet your needs.

One of our friendly staff, all Irish or Australian will receive your mail and will reply usually within an hour if not sooner.

Apart from being able to check the availability of all our online properties, they may also be able to offer you newer properties that are not yet online.

They will also be delighted to answer any questions you have about our service or Amsterdam in general.
